WorkflowRemix

For ComfyUI · Windows, macOS and Linux

Every file you made is a workflow you can run again.

WorkflowRemix is a private desktop app for the images, video and audio you generate with ComfyUI. Browse the library, open any file to see the workflow inside it, and remix it with a new prompt, seed or model. Your library never leaves your computer.

Windows, macOS and Linux. The first public release is on its way.

What runs

natural photograph, realistic detail, true-to-life colors, a young woman in her twenties with wavy shoulder-length hair, wearing a denim jacket and jeans, she is laughing, her eyes bright, she smiles as she takes a selfie, holding her phone up at arm's length, on an outdoor tennis court with spectators watching from the bleachers, warm golden hour light, long soft shadows

classic storybook illustration, soft watercolor washes, fine ink outlines, warm inviting colors, an old wizard with a long white beard and bushy eyebrows, wearing star-patterned blue robes and a tall pointed hat, wide-eyed with wonder, leaning over an open treasure chest that spills golden light, in an enchanted forest of twisting ancient trees, giant glowing mushrooms and drifting fireflies, warm golden hour light, long soft shadows

cinematic cyberpunk film still, moody neon noir, anamorphic lens flares, deep contrast, a sleek android with white ceramic plating, visible joints and softly glowing blue seams, grinning with wide-eyed thrill, riding a sleek hover-bike low over the street, leaning into the turn, on a rain-slick street between towering buildings covered in glowing neon signs and holograms, lit by magenta and cyan neon, colored reflections on every surface

stylized 3D animated film still, soft rounded shapes, gently exaggerated cartoon proportions, smooth clean shading, a small friendly robot with a rounded white body, big glowing blue eyes and two stubby antennae, eyes wide and bright with excitement, beaming with delight, riding in the cockpit of a small spacecraft that looks like a classic rocket ship, both hands on the controls, stars streaking past the round cockpit window, a ringed planet glowing ahead, warm glow from the control panel, colorful indicator lights

One prompt, four collections, nothing retyped. These are the starter collections a new install comes with. See what is in them.

What it does

ComfyUI makes the pictures. WorkflowRemix is where you find them again, keep the good ones, and make the next version without rebuilding a graph.

  • Browse

Find it by what you asked for

A fast grid over your library and ComfyUI's output folder. Search by file name or by the prompt written inside the file, so “ocean” finds the picture even when it is called Final_0042.png.

    Browsing your media →
  • Remix

    The workflow becomes a form

Open a file and the graph inside it turns into the controls that matter: prompt, seed, steps, models, LoRAs, size. Change one thing and run it again, or send the picture through a different workflow.

    Remixing a file →
  • Prompts

    Keywords, answers and collections

Write [character] in a prompt and tick the answers from your library. Three answers queue three jobs. Switch the collection and the same prompt is answered from another world.

    The prompt library →
  • Compare

    Several models, the same seeds

Pick more than one checkpoint and a run is queued once per model, model by model, on shared seeds. What differs between the results is the model and not the noise.

    Running several models →
  • Jobs

    Runs that outlive the page

Every run is tracked with its progress and its outputs as they finish. Open a result in the viewer and come back to the list where you left it. Cancel stops the queue, not only the row.

    The run list →
  • Remote

    From your phone, privately

Reach the app over your own Tailscale network. It is never on the public internet, and a phone can browse and run without being able to change anything on the computer.

How it works

WorkflowRemix generates nothing itself and contains no ComfyUI code. It talks to the ComfyUI you already run, with your models and your custom nodes.

  1. Point it at your ComfyUI

On first launch you choose where your data lives and give the address ComfyUI answers on. That is the whole setup.

  2. Open any file

ComfyUI writes the workflow into what it saves. WorkflowRemix reads it back, so every picture remembers how it was made.

  3. Change one thing and run

The run goes to your ComfyUI queue. Results appear as thumbnails while they finish, ready to keep, favourite or remix again.

Private by design

A media library is personal. The app is built so that it stays on your computer, and so that you can see exactly what leaves it.

Privacy and security in full

  • Your library never leaves the machine. Media is served straight off your disk. Nothing phones home.
  • It runs only in its own window. The app answers nothing but that window. A browser pointed at its address gets a page saying where the app is.
  • You choose where the data lives. The first launch asks, and says whether the folder you picked is probably indexed by system search.
  • Nothing is cached on disk by default. Thumbnails and media are not kept by the window unless you change the setting.
  • A password and a safe mode, if you want them. Lock the whole app, and hide files whose prompt matches your own word list on a shared screen.
  • One background request, and it is named. The update check tells GitHub your IP address and that a copy is checking. Nothing about your media, prompts or settings.

For adults, within the law

WorkflowRemix is for lawful use by adults (18 and over). You are responsible for every prompt, model and LoRA you run, and for what you make and share.

Acceptable Use Policy

  • Sexual content involving minors is never allowed, in any form: real or fictional, photoreal or drawn. Neither are intimate images of real people made without their consent.
  • Every run is checked before it reaches ComfyUI. A run whose prompt, model name or LoRA name describes a minor sexually is refused. An ordinary picture of a child, or of a school, runs.
  • Nothing switches the check off. It is a word check and not an image classifier: it stops the run that asks, and cannot see what a model draws unasked.
